Located directly opposite Education Central, University Hall offers 240 rooms and is the most central of all on-campus residences. University Hall was made up of a Main Building and Townhouses with the addition of The Village and Clark Wing in 2019.
The JCU Halls of Residence ā University Halls provide a variety of living styles with a strong support structure offering residents quiet areas, girls only floors and catering to all dietary requirements with three meals provided each day.
Situated closest to the dining hall, The Townhouses are large units with seven, eight or nine bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. The Village comprises 118 modular rooms, each with private bathroom and TV situated in a village-like environment. Just behind The Village is Clark Wing, a long corridor style with 60 rooms over three levels. The top floor of 14 rooms is used as a girls-only wing while the below floors are mixed gender with shared bathroom facilities.
On site student accommodation options provide fully furnished living areas with sofas, a dining table and chairs, a vacuum cleaner, fans, air conditioning.
In addition, all residents are encouraged to take part in the frequent and culturally diverse social activities organised by the UniLodge staff. There are friendly sporting competitions with other on-campus residences .
